| Almost exactly 2 miles up Provo Canyon is the turnoff to Squaw Peak Road. After four miles of climbing, take the right turn a 1/2 mile to the famous Squaw Peak Overlook. | |
| 1. Squaw Peak Trail | This is a great trail with a long steady climb that after a couple of miles, provides some incredible views of Provo Peak, Lightning Peak, and down into Rock Canyon. |
| 2. Down to Indian Road | This trail makes its way down the mountain to the Indian Road trailhead. |
| 3. Squaw Peak Road | This is the infamous 4.5 mile beast of a road. (Paved) |
